Group Members Ordered by F1-F6 selection
Reported by Sivv | January 2nd, 2009 @ 11:11 PM
I use squared for scenerio groups only, and have a small issue: My group members in the squared window will be shown out of order as compared to my party window. Can you make the squared window layout so that the group I am in will be in the same order as my party window, such that the group selection keys F1-F6 match up with how my group members are ordered in the squared window? In that F1 selects myself, and I will be the first player in the squared group(going left to right in my case). F2 will select the second player shown in my squared group and so on.
I love the options available to customize squared as it is. Thanks much.

Interestingly enough, what you found is the result of how the warband/scenario group system works. Try (and yes, this will sound odd) pressing F2 through F7 (yes, 7). I'm willing to bet you'll find that it targets each of the members of your group in the order in which they're displayed in Squared.

I just realized that I have to sign in to update the tickets through the website. :p Anyways, thanks for the reply, I tried the alpha version briefly and whatever you changed seems to have worked for the most part. The squared grid will now order the group members in the correct order as they are shown in the default Warhammer scenerio party windows. See screenshots attached.
If you have a way to make my group display in squared as they match up to keys F1-F6 that would be even more awesome. For example, in the 2nd screenshot, squared shows my group members from left to right Moun, Raul, Zint, Good, Matt, Badd. This matches up to the default scenerio party window. But if you go by F1-F6 key selection the group would be ordered like this: Zint, Moun, Raul, Good, Matt, Badd. Know what I mean?
Thanks much for the effort

The reason it displays them is because it displays you in your actual group position, whereas F1 is always yourself for keybindings (it's Target Self, not Target Group Member 1).
