names problem

I have a couple of toons with similar names ie. Igo and Igoc and I don't seem able to select the other one on either toon, I take it as it only reads Igo before selecting a toon although the default one they both select is Igoc, both toons are on different PC's and nothing happens on either pc when I click on Igo's square. When I am out of a group and Igo clicks on his own square it selects Igoc if he is standing beside me.

seem to have sorted by uninstalling some other addons think they were conflicting thanks

Actually, I have experienced a problem similar to this. I was in a scenario and two of the characterschad the same first five letters in their name. One was in group #1, the other in group #2. No matter which one I clicked, it always selected (and healed) the one from group #1. I haven't encountered this situation since then, but I've been curious to try to recreate it.

It's actually a basic error in the client; the targeting functionality will pick the first target whose name matches the entire string passed to it, as opposed to the exact name. So if one is a prefix of the other, it can often target the wrong one. That's nothing I can fix, it's something that'd have to be changed in the client code.
