Assist modifiers

Hello I have been looking for an add-on that makes changing assists easy and recently found Squaredassist which someone built as an plugin to your addon it had its merits but is no longer maintained. I was wondering since Squared is such a well used addon if you can possibly add a function that basically allows you to use a modified key when having someone in squared targeted that makes them a focus assist and then that same key to assist that person. (i.e Unit 12 is trageted I hit "Alt C" to make that person an assiat then when I hit "C" it assists Unit 12

That's something that's beyond the scope of Squared core, if someone wants to update/create a plugin to do it that's fine.
